IEEE Activities



     

 

On April 12, 2007, we had a very succesfull IEEE Eastern Idaho GOLD event

 

    On Apr. 12, 2007, Eastern Idaho IEEE Section GOLD (Graduates of Last Decade) Committee had a succesful panel titled "MBA vs. Engineering degree" (see the flyer).

    We had a great turnout - more than 35 people with different backgrounds attended our panel. Right after we started, questions started flowing. Our distinguished panelists were: Dr. Ken Bosworth, Chair, ISU CS Dept., Dr. Richard Jacobsen, Dean, ISU Coll. of Engineering, Dr. Mark Manwaring, Chair, U of I CS Dept., Dr. Robert Smith, U of I Assoc. Vice President and CAES Assoc. Director, Dr. William Stratton, Dean, ISU Coll. of Business. Attendees quickly made our panelists busy answering various questions regarding their programs and differences between engineering and MBA degree.
