We are investigating fuzzy/neural controller approach in intrusion detection of wireless devices (Nov.2006-Oct.2007, total grant funding $272k).

• Co-PI, Technical Development, Battlespace Awareness through Critical Information and Interdependency Visual Integration Tool (CIIVIT), joint UI and INL proposal submitted to Department of the Air Force, (June 2006-May2007, total grant funding $300k).

• PI, “ IDAHO NSF EPSCoR RII: Idaho Experimental Watershed Network”. We are providing the enabling technologies to conduction community science within the Idaho RII framework utilizing cyber-infrastructure to assimilate data, opinions, and synthesize information from the larger community at multiple levels from EPSCoR to other researchers in Universities and Agencies (May.2006-May.2007, total grant funding $77K).

• Researcher, NSF EPSCoR initiative to develop an Environmental Observatory Network using new sensor technologies. Work related to web based data mining tools and models available to regional scientific community with the overall theme on carbon cycling, (2006-2008, total grant funding $9m).

• Co-PI, “Integrating Decision Making with Engineering Process Simulations for the Assessment of Converting Biomass CO2 and Nuclear H2 to Synthetic Liquid Transportation Fuels”, Laboratory Directed Research and Development (LDRD) between Idaho National Laboratory and UIIF. We are integrating Decision Support Systems in Virtual Engineering Structure (Oct.2005-Sep. 2007, total grant funding $1.05m).

• PI, “Integrated Network Analysis Prototype Based on Attack Graphs”, LDRD between Idaho National Laboratory and UIIF. We developed single application prototype that integrates quantitative network analysis tools (June 2005-Sep. 2005, total grant funding $17K).

• PI, “Enterprise Virtual Array (EVA) Performability Analysis”, project between HP Storage Division Boise and UI Boise. We developed models for evaluating and predicting reliability and performability of RAID systems. (June 2004-May 2005, total grant funding $24K).
